Originally from Vancouver, BC, Libby is a 3rd-year Communications and Public Relations student and member of the varsity volleyball team at Thompson Rivers University (TRU).

In her experiences as a high-performance athlete, Libby has developed a strong sense of grit, discipline, and most importantly how to collaborate with others and work towards a common goal. Further, being a busy university student-athlete has taught her to be organized, manage her time wisely, and meet deadlines while juggling a full schedule. These transferable skills will serve Libby well in a potential future PR career. 

With some experience managing and creating content for the TRU Wolfpack women’s volleyball team, Libby enjoys designing graphics to be posted on their Instagram accounts. In the future, she hopes to combine her passion for sports with her interest in design, marketing, communications, and overall, public relations. Libby is committed to growing her skills in the PR field and pursuing a career that connects to her background as an athlete.
